Dad's speech seems to being getting worse, it is very difficult to understand him now, but he still has a smile on his face and a laugh that lights up a room. As we enter this next phase with Dad we look at ways of trying to communicate with him. Family, love and support is what keeps us positive. As Christmas nears we look forward to the precious moments we will have with family and friends.
As I reflect on the year that is about to pass, with the loss of an Aunt in June, a Nephew in October and my Mother in law last month, it has been a very stressful year. I would like to take this moment to thank all of those who have touched my life this year. A special thank you to Chris who developed this site and has opened my eyes and has given me a forum to express my thoughts and a supportive community. As another year passes and the New Year enters remember those who have touched your lifes, and embrace those who will.
