The Memory Intervention Program, Baycrest

Part 1: Dr. Kelly Murphy's Memory Intervention Program tries to give participants the tools to manage memory loss, in the hope that this will prolong their independence.

Located in Toronto, Baycrest is one of the world's premier academic health sciences centres focused on aging, providing care and services to almost 2,500 people every day. The complex includes a 472-bed nursing home and a 300-bed continuing care hospital facility with an acute care unit. Their Research Centre for Aging and the Brain includes the acclaimed Rotman Research Institute, considered one of the top five brain institutes in the world. Baycrest also runs a Memory Intervention Program, focusing on learning strategies for improving memory functioning for people with Mild Cognitive Impairment.
