A must see. This film says many things but most of all it expresses the need for caregivers support. It seems our society expected this role to be assumed with no thought to how deeply affected or difficult to fullfill without support. Thank-you Chris for opening a door that will bring about changed attitudes and most importantly open doors to help caregivers get the support they should have. Whether they are a caregiver themselves, a removed member of the family, just a friend, it touches all of us in some way when someone has dementia. I was so moved by the film that after leaving, my normal routine of turning music on for the long drive home was replaced by a stronger desire to help. It helped me better understand what caregivers are going through. In the future those who are caring for us or the ones we are caring for will have the help to get through a difficult time. Your efforts and organizations like Laurentians Care can make this possible. Thank you for sharing an intimate and heart wrenching experience for the benefit of others.
