Director of Community Development

Hello Chris;
I wanted to thank you again for the screening on January 22nd in Mississauga. As a community we need to be a stronger voice for caregiving. The journey ahead for many people is one that can be made easier by the sharing of stories. As it is sometimes through others that we learn strategies to cope on a day to day basis. I hope that more people will have an opportunity to view the film. Thank you for sharing your families experience! Donna

Public Education Coordinator, Alzheimer Society of Peel

Hi Chris,
Just want to say thanks again to you and your whole family for sharing your stories here in Mississauga. Your family caregiving journey unfolded in such a natural, loving and honest way. I also agree with your statement that a 'younger' voice for this disease is a timely acknowledgment of the generations potentially facing this journey in one way or another. And you're right that bringing art, music, poetry, film, performing arts etc. into the messages about Alzheimer's and dementia has so much potential - looking forward to seeing (and helping) those creative approaches bloom.

Best Regards,
April

I was so disappointed to have a conflict when you came to Kitchener. And I just now saw that you'd been in Cambridge the following night. Crap!! Really wanted to meet you and watch the screening of the film...
