Past and future screenings!
Wednesday, 11 March 2009 20:09

The film made is theatrical debut at Cinema du Parc in Montreal last Monday and Tuesday. Monday night was co-presented by the Alzheimer's Society of Montreal and was a big success. Just over 100 people showed up and there was a standing ovation at the end of the film. The questions and answer peroid after the film turned into everyone sharing their own stories. I didn't think it could get any better then Monday night, but I was wrong, Tuesday night was even bigger! Tuesday was co-presented by the Alzheimer's Groupe of Montreal, and It was completely sold out and there were even people sitting in the aisles! and again the question period went well.

So Cinema du Parc was so happy they want to screen the film again for a full week. It will screen again at the theatre from March 27th - April 2nd at 7pm, and again I will be present every night to answer questions after the film.

As well the film has just been accepted into the Indie Spirit Film Festival in Colorado Springs the weekend of April 24th.

I will also be attending Hot Docs film festival in Toronto to try and sell the film internationally.

The DVD of Forgetful Not Forgotten will officially go on sale on this site on Friday April 3rd!

I also have a total of 4 different conferences I will be attending in Ontario and Quebec in April and May, I will give out more info when it becomes available.

I am also starting to develop another film about Alzheimer's and it's future on our health care, the fight never ends!!!!!

Thanks to everyone who has sent their messages and shared with their stories!!!

Take care

Chris
