What a week it was! Again I need to catch my breath! Since the film premiered on TVO last Sunday January 11th, all I’ve been doing is trying to answer everyone’s emails. First let me thank everyone who expressed their thoughts and feeling about seeing the film, I want to thanks everyone for their kind words. Since the premiere I’ve been doing a lot of press in Toronto and here in Montreal. Just before Christmas I had a call from The Alzheimer’s Foundation for Caregiving in Canada, who asked me if I would be willing to be a spokes person for them, I wasn’t really sure what would be involved, but I am very glad I did agree. I agreed to answer some questions about caregiving as long as I would have a chance to promote the film and the website, and it has worked out well! On Monday morning after the premiere I went on to CIUT radio at the University of Toronto campus. I would like to that David Peterson and crew for having me on their show and talking about the film. I arrived back into Montreal late Monday night and started reading all the emails I had received from viewers who had seen the film the night before. On Tuesday I found out that both CTV & CBC news would be coming over to interview me. Both interviews went well and they aired 2 short stories that night on both channels on the 6pm news in Montreal. Then next few days again were spent trying to answer emails and comments on the new website. Finally I did CBC radio noon in Montreal on Friday, which went really well. Again thank you for making the week that was a great one. The film will air tonight on The Knowledge Network in B.C. and I hope it is received well there.

![]() ...Hi Chris - your movie was fantastic. I still have a hard time seeing Uncle John as anything but the gregarious guy he was. The film was a real eye opener as to what you and your family went through. Even though I live this everyday to some extent with Maggie decisions are never easy and there is always a tinge of regret and what if. Uncle John was lucky to have such a caring family. I really wish you well with all your promoting. Take Care and hi to all - Tory |
