I think this video gives a pretty good idea of where mom is. We have a care planning meeting this week, I'll report on that Wednesday.

Judy you inspire me of how you take care of your mother and look at all options to make her feel so much better. Your games and songs.. Have you heard of the taking the Montessori? It is thru the alzheimers and certificate class but you learn so much from it.. It is held at Mc Master University.. I am so saving and wanting to take this.. Your mum is actually a wee bit better than my father, who doesn't really talk much at all anymore. We're pretty sure he understands some things, even if he doesn't immediately react. On good days, he'll say words or jabber incomprehensibly, but generally he reacts with his eyes and his actions. My brother has some short videos of my father, maybe I'll get him to put them on YouTube and post them on my blog.
