My Story

Diagnosed with Alzheimer's related dementia in June of 2008. Currently unemployeed, taking Aricept, Namenda, coco-nut oil, fish oil, Alpha lipodic acid, Biotin and anything else I can find that claims to slow the progression. I WILL overcome and a cure WILL be found before losing it all!

I intend to keep my blog for "Medical and other related Personal History" updated throught my jorney. Hope that it helps somc person!

am I cheating God

Somehow I feel that I'm in cahootes with medical science and am cheating God. My symtoms began to show up around 1999 and continued to worsen until 2008. That is when I was diagnosed and started on medications to slow the Alzheimer's disease. Several adjustments have been made but now I think I have even improved a little. I want to feel happy but I have a deep feeling that I may be cheating God. He had a different plan for me I think.
